Too excited: I made an appointment at a hair salon for a cut and ombré. I'm bringing in this photo, it's the most accurate one I can find- the girl in the photo has my hair type and this is how I want it to look.
I'm kind of bummed that it's going to cost me over 100 dollars to do this, but I know I would mess up with ombré.
I'm going to purchase Bumble and Bumble's Sumotech hair wax to style it daily. I'm going for that Alexa Chung inspired hair; if you know what I mean.
What's kind of discouraging is that everyone I've told about my plan for this hair, apart from a couple friends, have told me not to do it and keep my long hair. I get where they are coming from, but my hair is starting to get split ends and it's falling out everywhere. Not to mention how BORING it is to wear straight every single day. It's just "blah" to me right now and I need a change.
