You may have read my previous post about a music festival I went to called Sweetlife. I went this past Saturday with my boyfriend and a couple other friends.
Sadly I didn't wear any of the outfits in the other post. It was a boring outfit so no pictures, sorry.
My mom convinced me to wear jeans which was a huge mistake. It was suppose to rain all day but for the majority of the day it was HOT. I was baking in my black jeans under the sun. I was actually contemplating finding scissors and cutting them into shorts. Luckily, right when I was about to do something drastic to my pants, the sun went away and the rain came out.
I was actually happy it rained, it made the festival more fun.
What I didn't like was the huge drunk crowd at the end of the day. Never in my life have I seen so many under aged girls look like fools who can't keep it together.
I did not partake in the drinking festivities so my group was the only sober one out of hundreds around us. It's really not fun after a while.
What made my day was seeing the artists. I saw Ms Mr for the second time and it was awesome. I love the lead singer so much, she has so much spunk and really enjoys herself on stage.
Kendrick Lamar was really fun as well, after hours of indie music around you it's nice to sing along to some rap.
Last group was Phoenix. I didn't realize how much I loved Phoenix them until I saw them live. When they played Lisztomania everyone danced and went crazy. The song reminded me of when one of my best friends Ali visited last summer. It was the perfect ending to the night.
