Fashion Show: Portfolio in Motion

Last night I went a fashion show at a local university called Portfolio in motion. It was a show of the graduates designs from this year. 

I was amazed by all the talent and skill of the designs. What amazed me even more was the actual event itself. The set up what amazing.  The theme was Cosmic Dreams so there was tons of fairy lights and projector images of colorful galaxies and stars. The gauzy fabric hung from the stage transformed the university gym into a luxurious fashion setting. 

I could still see the show pretty well even though was the the back row; my friend Nicole and I got lost on the way there. It was a huge ordeal, I need to learn to trust google maps from now on. However, the show made the trip totally worth the struggle of getting there. 

I have discovered how interested I am in what goes on to put on a fashion show of that size, I would really love to be apart of the back-stage crew. 

For my outfit I was channeling Rhianna. All black with gold jewelry and red lips.

Cut out heels- Calvin Klein

Calf hair bag- Ann Taylor

Gold Chain- H&M

Lipstick- MAC: Russian Red
